This is likely very True.

I think Austin is the city in Texas most well-liked by non-Texans.

For Michigan it's between Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor and Detroit. I'm gonna give it to Detroit though, as the city's rebirth has just been amazing to witness! Although I can see GR being right up there too.

For Delaware, it's Rehoboth Beach, no contest, followed by neighboring Dewey Beach. Rehoboth is the most visited city in the state, and brings in huge crowds from multiple states during summer, while Dewey is seen as the younger, more party friendly alternative.

For Colorado, definitely Denver. Maybe Aspen, Boulder and Ft Collins as runners up. But Denver.

Many people from Denver dislike Colorado Spring immensely, and many people in the Springs feel the same about Denver. However, Denver Metro is 4 times larger.

New York: *No brainer* New York City

However, I think the eastern Long Island shore towns deserve a mention, like Greenport, Montauk, and Southampton.

I want to point out, that one argument Dallas and Houston defenders/Austin haters use is "everyone thinks Austin is the only liberal area in Austin. Dallas and Houston are just as liberal."

Attendance for Women's march:

Austin 50,000
Houston 22,000
Dallas 7000

Now, is this the be all and end all to an argument? Of course not. But given Austin is 1/5 the size of both cities, it's not trivial.
