How does the USA generally view qualifications from universities outside the US?
I'm looking particularly at social/public services as I have a masters qualification from a good UK university, would U.S employers view this equally as a US gained masters qualification?

Thanks!

I don't think it is going to be a problem. However, if you are really concerned about it, you may want to re-evaluate your degree. Check out World Educational Services (broken link).

Yes, you would be qualified. The only difference is that a US university gives you a more rounded education (ie. courses in humanities, math, science, etc. are required for practically every type of degree while a UK university is more 'vocational' in that one only takes courses that are predominately connected to a particular degree).

I too have a B.A. from outside the USA and had no problem with it being accepted in the USA.
