I agree. Much better than growing up in the flight path of a major airport up north, which was also down the street from a huge train yard.

Cargo ships, fog horns, occasional train honk, seagulls, occasional seal bark, crows, other birds, rain drops, cars driving by, drunk people on fri/ Saturday nights, and someone tweaking at least once a week.

That sounds awesome, except for the drunks and tweakers lol. I love nautical harbour places and the sounds of ships and gulls, waves and seals. My bathroom is nautical theme, sometimes I play ocean nature sounds from my phone while showering. Super relaxing!
