Virginia is for lovers.

Virginia is for variety.

But I do like it when they add something in front of lovers from time to time i.e. Virginia is for Mountain/Wine/Crab etc. Lovers. Or like when they added a rainbow heart to the Virginia is for Lovers.

Wyoming current slogans "The cowboy state" and "Wyoming the way America used to be"

Should be Wyoming "Give us your money, and then go away"

Or just "Stay out, we didn't want you here anyway"

My feeling is very much Wyomingites do not like people from out of state moving here and mucking things up. God forbid you move here from California like we did. However tourism is a big deal near the two national parks and Jackson, so taking the money from tourists is A-OK.

Is that seriously one of their slogans? I don't hear anything, but my dog is going nuts.

We have a lot of them, but the three main ones are "Land of 10,000 Lakes," "The Gopher State," "The North Star State."

Minnesota: "Better Coffee Than Starbucks."

My home state - Missouri: "The Show-me State". Huh?
Like maybe I can't figure it out on my own?
Like I'm too dense to even come up with a slogan?
Like I give up -- you have to show me?

Switch to "The former Bellwether State"
or " We shoulda coulda woulda"
How about "Missouri - I know it's around here somewhere"
