I think St. Louis has to worry more about the risk of an earthquake or a tornado.

Why would anybody attack Jersey?

I think Las Vegas could be a tempting terror target because it is such an iconic American city (for better or worse). And one thing the terrorists have demonstrated...they like hitting our iconic buildings (Twin Towers, pentagon, etc).

Any city with vital infrastructure such as large ports, energy hubs, cities with iconic buildings, major airports, all are at risk.

Kidding?

The Ft. Dix terror plot was only last year.

Also Newark's central business district was targeted (prudential):

CNN.com - U.S.*indicts*three*in*alleged terror*plot* - Apr 12, 2005

NJ has unusually large oil reserves for a state so small, and its airport (Newark) can and has been used as a spring-board to launch attacks on NYC

At risk is a relative term though. IMO the threat of terrorism is trumped up and blown out of proportion by the current administration and the media.
