I've always been curious what it was like here in Texas during the 1930s when there was the threat of dust storms roaring across the plains. Since my family's not from here, none of my great grandparents lived through that so I don't have any personal family anecdotes from that time. I also reckon most people on here weren't alive back then but does anyone who's family is from the Great Plains or lived there back then, have any stories they wanna share of life back then? Stories from grandma or grandpa? Must've been real tough, not only with the Great Depression but the terrible conditions caused by the storms.
