I have watched the urban area shows...mostly. How can you not like Modern Dad? I don't watch TV often, so I suspect the pretty colors amuse me for a while.

Hehe I agree.. I also enjoy Modern Family but I also fall in the urban category. Hello SNL
I've watched Pawn Stars but I can't stand the people. I like antiques and collectibles though. I also watch Antiques Roadshow and Rick Steves Europe, but that's about it for tv.
Can't afford Whole Foods but never heard of Cracker Barrel. I'd just eat at a diner or a hole in the wall place as long as it's locally owned, not a chain.

Can't afford an iphone.
I guess some of us are just lost in the middle.
I loved Rick Steves. I guess I was caught in the middle, too. Now, I watch The food Ranger and other UTube offerings.
How can you not love Kitten Academy? 0 happening right now, but it's usually rather amusing.
There are many Cracker Barrels in long Democratically controlled communities (I am talking of over 150 years like my native Clayton County, Georgia and nearby South Fulton County) here in Metro Atlanta, but no "Whole Foods" like places and very few Starbucks. Probably NOT the best comparison. Stereotype much? My uber liberal Aunt from "fashionable Northeast Atlanta" (a place with MANY Starbucks and Whole Foods) LOVES Cracker Barrel and buys most of her clothes there along with sundry "dust catchers" for her home.

Of course there is a middle ground but when looking at statistics it is interesting to see that these two brands (cracker barrel and whole foods) overlap in about only 20% of markets. I can only assume the same for waffle house vs trader joes.
