So. I still have my BC, and a valid ID (my DL.) Tell me if my thought process is correct:

1. I take my BC and DL to Social Security Office... To get my Social Security card reissued.

2. When I get that.... Reapply for Passport, as if I never had one.

Yes/no?

No.

You don't need a SSN card to get a passport.

And if you already had a passport, you do not need to apply for one nor do you need a BC or DL.

Just send a renewal form in the mail.

That's it!

Can I fill out the DS-11 with just my photo ID and my Birth Certificate at the Passport place (Post Office?)

You are going to have to disclose that you lost your passport. Normally you would have to send in the old, expired passport to get a new one.

OP better disclose lost SS and Passport, unless you want to get arrested for smuggling drugs through Mexican border 3 years from now...
