I noticed that with my Ohio friends.

I thought they were just rude at first, but then I started noticing the trend. Ohioans are culturally un-enthusiastic, but once you get used to it they're fine. haha

It's very jarring coming from NY, where even far away from NYC people tend to be more... intense and obvious.
