Northern Delaware has a cheap CoL (no sales tax) when compared to its neighbors (MD, PA, NJ), and is within 30 minutes of Philadelphia International, which provides a lot of direct flights to locations both international and domestic. Winters are fairly mild too, while summers are about on par to what you're already used to. If you're willing to invest more time, you're also within 90 minutes of Newark Liberty and BWI.

I would also say Dallas, central location, two airports, etc.

I work from a home-based office now and travel from the SF Bay Area (3 airports). SFO for international and east coast flights. OAK and SJC for west coast flights and cities served by Southwest's network.
