Obviously we don't know how many of those households having working moms but Im pretty sure the vast majority are households where its the father who works away from the home.

Some seemed to equate it to wealth, but the following seems to indicate stay-at-home mothers tended to be poorer on average. Also more Hispanic for some, perhaps cultural?, reason.

Its says 27% of Hispanic woman "are SAHM" but I think out of those 27%, if you asked them (without punishment) if they were Nannys/babysittters on a full time basis, you'd get a much lower percentage. My MIL says she only works at Pizza Hut PT but she has a cash only (illegal) fulltime job babysitting.

I am a single SAHM but I work from home in order to do it. I have read where the SAHM who work are now called 'hybrid' moms.

I love their mission statement-
"A new generation of moms who embrace their multiple identities" That doesn't sound very positive-makes them sound schizophrenic or DID. You'd think they could've come up with something better than that.
