Well, global warming has fixed that for us. Our biggest "storm" this season dumped a "hearty" FIVE INCHES upon the city. As a snow lover, I can heartily say "What a waste of a winter this was!" I wish you the best of luck in your eventual relocation back to the Old Dominion State. Alexandria, Charlottesville, Richmond, Roanoke, etc. are all such wonderful cities. I can't say the same about that cookie-cutter garbage in Vienna, Leesburg, Fairfax, etc. though.

Well thus far this poll is quite surprising to me. North Carolina is by far the most active state forum we have here on City-Data, yet with 100 members now responding, not even a single one hails from the Tarheel State. This is making me think that perhaps there aren't many native North Carolinians on City-Data after all; the "busy" factor on that state forum is just spawned by residents of other states asking questions whereas in PA, for example, which had 6 respondents, is mostly locals chit-chatting and/or bickering with other locals, as not many folks consider Scranton to be as big of a relocation destination as Charlotte.

Yep that's PA in a nutshell
As for Carolinians,I think they're sort of busy now trying to figure out the onslaught of northerners to their state
