I wish Houston was actually built on the opposite side of Galveston island. Galveston would have been the Houston what Miami Beach is to Miami. Houston really dropped the ball where to build the city. Even where Texas City is at would have been better than the culture that location.

I got my information by digging through the US Census website to find their reports for the specific city I'm looking for.
