I've always like NuLu in Louisville, KY. It's obviously a "hipster" type name referring to a "new" re-done area of Louisville, but clever nonethelessz

NuLu

In Miami you have

Liberty City
Little Haiti/Lemon City
Little Havana
Overtown
Edgewater
Venetian Islands
Coconut Grove

All have kind of cool names (not as cool as Hell's Kitchen though).

Liberty City is unofficially called "Pork and Beans" which is cooler I guess.

Reviving this thread!

Some of my favorites in New England are:

Frog Hollow in Hartford, CT.
The Chemistry in Waltham, MA.
Neighborhood Nine in Cambridge, MA.

I also love Hell’s Kitchen in New York.

Is there really a neighborhood called “Just Us” in Atlanta or one called “Strawberry Mansion” in Philly?

I've always thought Echo Park, LA was a cool name.

Same with the Tenderloin and the Castro in SF, and the Bowery in NYC. Any "the [single-word]" name makes a place sound important and culturally relevant.

Yeah, names of exotic places are cool too, like Trinidad in DC and Pilsen in Chicago.

I'm hearing more young people in St. Louis refer to Skinker Debaliviere as Skinky D. Lol

Fresh Kills, New York (which is near Kill van Kull, but that's a waterway)
Ukrainian Village, Chicago
The Tenderloin, San Francisco
Bel-Air, Los Angeles (it's so cheesy)

Not really a "city" - but we used to live in the "No Name" neighborhood/community of Glenwood Springs, CO, right off of I-70. the exit had a rest area right off the road and it was a constant source of entertainment for travelers passing through, getting their pictures taken next to the sign...
