If I'm traveling a lot: anywhere within 30 minutes of the DFW airport.

If I'm not gonna travel much: somewhere along the rural California or Oregon coast.

Ugh. Maybe if one never had to deal with the people.

If money were no object, but health issues still were: somewhere in Southern California (despite hating lots of things about California).

If money were no object and my health issues were resolved: probably back in the Philadelphia area. Possibly New York City. If I could really adequately sound-proof my living space (which shouldn't be a problem if money were no object), then maybe NYC. I think my ideal would be to live in a large walkable downtown area (or something similar), with crime levels that I find tolerable, but with the ability to shut out the news that goes along with being in a big city.

Maybe if one never had to leave town! I adore Laguna Beach and am still mourning the property my family used to own there, but getting in and out of town is a major PITA. Newport Beach is a little better...I'd love to live on one of those streets with the flower names by Corona del Mar.

I'd stay in SoCal if I could live at the beach; otherwise, central Washington (to be near family).

New York City or Boston for sure! Maybe San Francisco, though.

Oh, I forgot to mention to my list of places, someplace in the Blue Ridge Mountains like Blowing Rock or Brevard or Highlands.
The Waynesville/Lake Junaluska area is another very attractive part of western North Carolina.

Incorporating COL. Salt Lake City, Chattanooga, or Greenville.

Money not an issue. Naples or San Diego.

Merritt Island Fl, or Satellite Beach or Cocoa Beach. Money is not an object.
