In the middle of the redwoods in Northern California, because you have to see the size & beauty of those awesome trees to believe it, & it's just magical & so peaceful there.
1. Northeast Wisconsin. It is just a fantastic location to be in as an outdoorsman. As an avid hiker, I love having the easy access to the Upper Peninsula, Lake Michigan, Door County, and central WI (e.g. Wausau). Also, it's not reasonably far or secluded from the larger cities such as Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago.
2. Arlington...if I had the money. It would be very interesting to live in close proximity to DC and using the public transportation system to get around those nearby cities.
