MSP would be perfect for me. I just wish it wasn't so cold and land locked.

Wouldn't it be like a comparison to how Dallas is to Ft. Worth?

Don't Mpls and St Paul treat each others as equals where as Dallas is BIG brother to Ft Worth

I've only been in Minneapolis, never St. Paul. Although the locals do say St. Paul is cheaper (and maybe a bit more "hip") but Minneapolis seems to be big brother as well. The only big difference is Ft. Worth is further from Dallas and is more "frowned upon" by some of the locals.

Dallas is definitely superior by a long shot but I didn't think downtown Ft. Worth was a dump or anything like that.

I've heard that people from Minneapolis don't go to St. Paul and vice versa. So not sure how connected they really are. But I think they are more equals than the two cities you mentioned.

That's what keeps people out! Imagine the growth it'd be having if it wasn't so cold there. It would be insane.

There's also a lotta breweries in Saint Paul

Actually, Minneapolis is seen as the "hip one." Saint Paul is seen as the one that appeals more to older crowds like those in their late 20s and 30s and Minneapolis more to college age people. They both have their hip areas, though.

You're right, I never hear anything about St. Paul, other than it's the Capital of Minnesota. I hear about Minneapolis, and I hear about the Twin Cities, and I hear about Minnesota, but the words "St Paul" very rarely ever get mentioned.

I've spent most of my 62 years in Indiana and Texas, and in my lifetime, I do believe I have heard the Minnesota cities of Rochester, Duluth, Hibbing, Moorehead, Brainerd, and Austin, mentioned more times than St. Paul. If St Paul wasn't the State capital, most people outside of Minnesota might not ever have heard of it. No disrespect to St Paul, but it's the truth.
