There's a bunch of these around the nation lol. Different, yet the same:

Norfolk and Buffalo are very comparable. I was out in Park Place and Riverview today and those areas have a Buffalo similarity to them:

I think the whole river/water thing creates a cultural kinship, too. They both have smallish downtowns but are built fairly similarly to each other. There are certain things that pop out that are reminiscent of each other, and they feel similarly-sized. I'd say Norfolk is more alike Buffalo than Richmond...
