That's right. I remember urgent care in Columbus - Wedgewood Urgent Care. They always have quality doctors and nurses. Never seen such quality on a hospital level. Still looking.

Lol. You want random internet anecdotes instead of fact-based rankings?

A ranking can be fact-based and still mean very little. Just like the college rankings. Rankings can be different and even opposite from one list to the next depending on what they count.

For example, the best survival rate might mean a hospital that only does routine cases. The worst survival rate might be the place that is more rightly #1 but mostly does the most difficult cases.

Personal experiences are subjective and can vary due to extending circumstances on any given day or night. The best way to find a quality hospital in your area is to use Medicare's Hospital Compare website, where you can compare quality consistency based on many different criteria.

World class? What exactly do you mean by that. Really, I think this is just somebody wanting to put down Americas medical care by stating that our hospitals here aren't any good.

Here in America we have plenty of 1st class hospitals that are among the best in the world. To me, that is world class. I have done a lot of travelling and I always said that if I needed to visit a hospital abroad, it would only be for something minor. Otherwise put me on one of those big ol' birds and fly me home to the US.

Stage three testicular cancer survivor, quad bypass and kidney failure/dialysis, 49 years old and I'm still working on offshore sportfishing boats thanks to our world class hospitals. To me I have nothing but high praises for the Orlando Regional Medical center and it's affiliation with MD Anderson out of Houston. They killed my cancer 17 years ago and I'm listed for a kidney with Baltimore's University of MD Medical center. Another first class hospital and I can't leave out John;s hopkins. Just a few of many in this country which are among the best in the world!

I was in Greece once and got an owie. At the town's clinic they fixed me up in 20 minutes. As we strolled out the door we asked a nurse if we were supposed to pay somebody but she said no. Now that was world class.
