What cities do you think meet the criteria?
General: dry, clear and crisp air, sunny or clouds ok if they are white and puffy and they don't kill the sun, rain good if it's short, close to none gray muggy days, over 70 degrees with exceptions ok.

1. Spring
2. Summer: not many days over 90, higher latitude for more daylight.
3. Fall
4. Winter: lower latitude for more daylight.

Tough call but I'll go with:

1. Spring - Napa
2. Summer - Seattle
3. Fall - San Diego
4. Winter - Phoenix/Scottsdale

Very interesting, no gloomy days in Napa in the spring? I mean, do you promise?
I have to know because I hate glooming days with a passion but prefer white puffy clouds over a sunny sky.

The humidity here isn't as bad as in the south. Again, people that complain about northeast summers are trying to prop the south up.

Still warm for me in October to mid November. There's this electricity in the air, football is on, the city seems a bit busier, but drinking coffee and hot chocolate seems appropriate most days. Not like being in the south where it can be 85 on any given day. That's not fall

I hate those gloomy days too that we have every Spring in Seattle. Napa has some but it starts getting pretty sunny by April.
