How can you know what most people in CHarlotte want if you have never even talked to most of them? You are speaking for people that you don't know.

It is odd that you think anecdotal evidence is evidence of your assertion.

I'm going to stop interacting with you.

I said *some* people in Charlotte would like to live in Greenville or Columbia and you just acknowledged in your last post that *some* people would like to live in Greenville or Columbia. What is the issue?

You said you think A lot of people here want to move to Greenville or Columbia. A lot of people who already live here would rather just stay here, or move to their old hometowns, or somewhere else for retirement.

I'm not trying to be a jerk to you, or thumb my nose down at Greenville or Columbia. I'm telling you what I experience.

Ok, I was speculating, just as you are speculating. I don't know those people. You don't either. I would never presume to speak for everybody in Greenville simply because I live here.

I know people that have moved here from Charlotte and Raleigh and Atlanta and other big cities who wanted to move here. You previously asserted that people would only move here for a job.

Ok. From my standpoint, I don't see anything about Charlotte that makes it a more exciting or 'cool' place to live than Cola or Greenville. I worked in Uptown for 4 months.

I missed this comment. I never said or implied that you were putting down Columbia or Greenville. And I would not care if you did not like them.

My comment was essentially that many people prefer smaller cities and less traffic, and many people would prefer to live closer to the mountains.
