Bullhead City is HOT-HOT-HOT in the summer. The air quality is very poor here during the summer. You can't get outside when the temps are above 115 degrees and it doesn't cool off at night. Maybe down to 90 degrees. I would opt for Kingman if you are set on this area. I plan to visit Farmington, NM before I make a final decision on my place to retire.

I suggest checking out the small towns in Cochise County, Arizona (SE corner of the state) and Nogales, some of the best weather in the country. Places like Bisbee.
