I want to take a last minute Labor Day weekend trip. My 2 choices are Louiseville and Philly. I will stay at a downtown hotel in either city. Iím 23 years old. I like to go to cool bars, eat good food, walk around and sightsee. Which city should I visit?

Philadelphia, no contest. Made in America will be in town on the 2nd and the 3rd, and besides having a killer lineup (Jay-Z, the Chainsmokers, J. Cole, etc), draws a huge crowd to the B. Franklin Parkway in Center City. Louisville is a fine city, but it's nowhere near the level of Philly for bars, foods, sightseeing, etc., especially for this weekend. Unless you don't like huge crowds, I'd go with Philly for sure. It isn't even that pricey, all things considered.

It ultimately depends exactly what you want. As someone mentioned, Philly will have more to do overall, but that comes with a huge crowd.

I love Louisville, KY. 4th street live (in downtown) is an awesome bar scene, always have live music, and is definitely less of a crowd than Philly will be. There are also some awesome distilleries near Louisville that you would love if you're into bourbon/whiskey.

Can't really go wrong with either. If you want a lesser crowd, Louisville would be the better choice. If you want more overall to do in a short period, Philly would be the wise choice

Louisville. Philly will be dead with everyone at the beach.

Sounds like a perfect time to go. Philadelphia without Philadelphians.

Except there will be ~75,000 attendees in an area of about .15 sq miles partying for two straight days. Depends on your demographic/interests, but hardly what I'd call dead.

Philadelphians are lovely people. Why the hate?

Can you really blame us for going to our gorgeous beaches?

We will be enjoying our beautiful beaches with clear water and white sand, not muddy silty river water masquerading as ocean water.
