Mike Huckabee came from Hope, AR, the same town that gave us Bill Clinton. Amazing that two politcians on the complete opposite ends of the political spectrum came from the same small town.

Wow! That truly IS amazing! Then again, Hillary Clinton, a social liberal, was baptized right here in Scranton, PA, a very socially conservative city.

Yep lol, NWA gave us Wal-Mart(Questionable, but convinient! lol), Little Rock has Mike Huckabee(I think we can all agree to say what an idiot!! lol) and Scranton gives us a good example of Urban Decay(not very attractive lol,of course on a small scale because Scranton is...well, small lol). Problems everywhere! On another note, everyone loves Bill Clinton!!

Touche! (Or Tushy? How is it spelled?) Then again, Scranton also gave us the electric trolley as a form of mass transit, so there! That's my random Electric City factoid of the day. You should all feel enlightened.

I am embarassed Mike Huckabee is from Arkansas. He is to AR what the Westboro Baptist Church is to Kansas and what Rep Sally Kern is to Oklahoma.

You're quite welcome. Since you're so receptive I'm going to give you an added treat---a SECOND random Scranton factoid of the day! Did you know that Scranton is the setting for NBC's comedy "The Office?" Wow! I REALLY need to put these stupid pom-poms down sometime. LOL!

Regardless of your personal beliefs on sexual orientations, some of these right-wing zealots go WAY too far. First it was petitioning to have a statue of Matthew Shepard erected in a town with a placard of "Matthew Shepard: Entered Into Hell..." then it was protesting at the funeral of a gay serviceman, and now here in PA they're pushing to permanently ban not only same-sex marriages and civil unions, but also hospital visitation rights!

Another area that should fit this mould is the Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Newport News, etc. area.

Six cities, each with population between 100,000 and 450,000 people. The metro total is 1.7 million, but no city in that area looks like an urban core suitable for an area that size.
