It depends on the neighborhood and rural area as well. It isn't odd to find some neighborhoods in some of the cities mentioned where there is no predominant group and there is a substantial amount of multiple groups as well.
Even in the South, there are rural areas that are homogeneous or are overwhelmingly of one group.
As a specific area in regards to the thread, this area of Syracuse fits for sure: Northside UP - The Northside Urban Partnership | Syracuse, NY It is where you can find refugees from SE and South Asia, East and West Africa and the Middle East, some old/die hard Italians, Germans, Irish, along with African Americans and Hispanics. There are tracts where there isn't a predominant group on this side of town and you can find a range of places of worship, as well as some restaurants/markets(Asian, Middle Eastern, Italian, etc.). It also has a range of neighborhoods from lower income to upper middle class.

Nashville, TN.. and Louisville, Ky. definitely fit the bill. Remember when I first visited the two cities years back, had no idea they both had such high black populations. Nashville especially surprise me how big the Hispanic and Foreign population. Lots of West Indians, Africans, and Kurds in Nashville as well.. Nashville includes the largest Kurdish population in the US.
They do, I saw a good bit in the Antioch area which were mainly Jamaicans and Trini's that I saw even met a few people from Dominica there. My lady friend which is Trinidadian was pleasantly surprised of the Diversity of the City and is now Considering a move from Atlanta to Nashville now, she's kinda burned out with Atlanta as is I and has actually been looking for jobs there.
I think it is more abberant to not expect almost any medium (or larger) city in the US to have a significant Black, Hispanic, or foreign born population. Non-Hispanic whites comprise a mere 61% of the US population.

Because everyone thinks Orlando is old and white. When its 65% non white,and the average age is like 33. (If the amount of puerto ricans came over like they said, orlando would be >75% non white in 2 years)

I've never thought that and never hears anyone imply that. Orlando is known for having a large Puerto Rican population.
