Believe it or not I have never been to Vegas. It is definitely on my bucket list.

That's not the same, though, even if it is a lot cheaper.

All y'all talking about visiting New Orleans - I say definitely do it (and pack loose clothes because you'll gain weight while you're there!) but do NOT visit in the summertime if you're not accustomed to a lot of heat and humidity. I mean, extreme heat and humidity.

The wintertime can be a very pleasant time to visit - really any time between October and early May. I mean, you can have fun any time of the year there but if you visit between May and September, be sure you bring natural fabric clothes - NOT synthetics - only fabrics that will breathe. Otherwise you'll feel like you're stifling. And just get used to the idea of sweating profusely. Once you accept it, you'll feel better! LOL

It's cool to see a lot of people mention Charleston on this thread. I really love it and hope to move back at some point in my life! Yes, do visit it someday when you can.

Been to all 50 states, dozens of state parks and natural areas and 19 of the 20 largest metro areas (all but Tampa).

I would say the big places in the USA or close by that I haven't been and want to go:

Mexico City (going next month and excited, everything I've read on it says it's amazing
Dry Tortugas National Park 75 miles west of Key West
Arcadia National Park
Ashville North Carolina
Toronto (no idea how I haven't been here yet)
