It's interesting how many people say they like cold and snow because it "kills off the bugs." Tells me about everything I need to know about summer in those climates.

I like accumulation — for about a day or so while it is still clean, soft, white, and pretty. You know, before it turns into that gross gray slush.

I like four seasons, don't get me wrong. I just like winter to be really short.

Yep probably because for most of us it will be gone in a few hours (if it's not already gone)! So it's a novelty - and a short lived one.

I loved running around in the snow flurries yesterday. Happy to see it and happy to see it gone!

In other words, you guys do want 4 seasons but not at the expense of being near family and low COL.

That's not what she said. She's been very specific that she likes the weather in Dallas (I take it) and wants nothing else.
