Hi all. Right now my family and I live in Williston, ND, and Iím so tired of the climate here. We have winter for about 6 months a year, summer for about 4, then fall and spring are about a month a piece. Plus our city is an oil town so itís just dirty. Semis all over. Just tired of it. Where would we go if we wanted some snow every year, not too rainy, not extremely hot in summer. Somewhere with big green lawns and pretty houses. Peaceful and not too many people. Up to like 60 or 70k would be nice. Maybe semi close to water or beaches. I have always liked California. Any suggestions?

Check out Frederick, Maryland. It hits all off your criteria and while just one hour away to both DC and Baltimore plus the Chesapeake Bay, it offers peace/quiet, greenspace and affordability along with plenty of work opportunity. https://www.visitfrederick.org/visit...derick-county/

There's nowhere in CA of that size with that type of climate.

Coeur d'Alene, ID comes close. So does Moscow, ID/Pullman, WA (these are both college towns right next to each other). Missoula, MT. Really, any of the larger cities in Montana would work in theory, perhaps with the exception of Billings (too big). Casper, Cheyenne, and Laramie in Wyoming. Flagstaff, AZ. Santa Fe, NM. Loveland, CO.

Morgantown WV and Newark DE are a couple of places that may work.
