South Florida Crane Watch now has 119 projects. It covers the Miami neighborhoods of downtown, Brickell, the Arts & Entertainment District, east Overtown, Edgewater, Midtown and Wynwood. More areas will be added in the future.
Isn't Miami at risk to flooding due to global warming? Or do investors / residents there think global warming risks are exaggerated?

Is this thread about just the amount of cranes, or total construction projects? Not every construction project requires a crane. The South Florida Business Journal counts 119 projects, but there aren't 119 cranes. The Nashville Business Journal counts 229 construction projects in Nashville, but there are certainly not 229 construction cranes in Nashville. I think the number of cranes is closer to 28-30 or so in Nashville.

The topic of which cities have the most major construction projects already exists in this thread:

Which MSA has the most major projects coming up: ATL, HOU, DAL, L.A., Seattle, D.C., Philly, Bos, San Fran, or Chi?

Please contribute to that thread. This one is now closed.
