One type of humor is a simple incongruity or unexpected twist. Sometimes I laugh at something, and then think about it later and realize it wasn't funny. Probably farts fall into that category. If someone lets one go unexpectedly, most of you will laugh, no matter how sophisticated you think you are. Oh yes, you will. Stop denying it.
