Main St NW, Albuquerque, NM

I don't think anyone with a mental capacity higher than an earthworm would consider that a main street.

I live near a main street here in Atlanta but Peachtree street is clearly our main street.
My point is that Gervais could be considered more of a Main Street than Main Street.

SaMo Blvd. is definitely a runner-up.
Wilshire is certainly more developed than Main Street and there are at least a dozen, if not dozens, of other streets that are more significant destinations, but Main Street in LA is still pretty important. It’s the dividing line between east and west. Addresses on east/west streets east of Main Street have “east” in their address and the converse is true for addresses to the west.

Toronto has a Main St. that's about 5 miles east of the city's main thoroughfare, Yonge St. It was the "Main St." in the village of East Toronto, annexed by Toronto more than a century ago.

Probably not in Maine, but I'll be there's a "Maine Highway" in NH or VT.

This is Main Street in Atlanta, for those that aren't familiar with our City. It's part of a transit oriented neighborhood built around the Lindbergh Center MARTA station: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.8225...7i13312!8i6656

This is our real Main Street, Peachtree in the heart of Downtown: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.7603...7i13312!8i6656

Peachtree in Midtown: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.7883...7i13312!8i6656

Peachtree in Buckhead: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.8450...7i13312!8i6656

Off topic for THIS thread, but the fall foliage thread from a few weeks ago, LOOK at the remnants of our glorious Atlanta fall from the "Main Street" Lindbergh Center picture.

Here's "Main St" (of a trailer park), off of the "Maine Highway" collector street

This zip code, Endicott NY, also has an E Main St and a W Main St. Though historically the major downtown shopping street was Washington Ave., Main St perhaps has re-emerged as the major business location as the artificiality of what was originally a shoe company patch town fades.

One of the most glaring examples I can think of is Memphis Tennessee
Main St is not "main" at all, that would be Poplar Avenue which is certainly by far the main drag
