Not surprisingly, because of all of the wilderness areas and endless opportunities for outdoor recreational activities, Michigan is a huge state for pickup truck ownership. They are everywhere here, even in the cities. I live in a small subdivision in a small town where all of our neighbors are either white collar or blue collar professionals and there is a 4x4 pickup truck in every driveway, Ford F-150s by a large majority. Our son is a real estate professional in Metro Detroit and he is also actively looking to buy a truck. I guess it's in our blood here or something, or maybe it's just that people need them to haul their four wheelers, jet skis, snowmobiles, and boats. Either way, they are hugely popular here, much more so than in Ohio where I grew up.

WTF, we're a Camry state? That's quite a surprise. I drive a F-150, have most of my life.

Louisiana is definitely one with the large number of oil field service companies. Personal vehicles too. although f-150 is the most popular, the chevy, Gmc, and Dodge Rams are all common vehicles here. Fewer, but still common Tundras and less are the Titans.
