Warwick, RI. The Potowomut peninsula section (southern most pink area in map below) is not connected by land to the rest of Warwick. You must got through East Greenwich to get from one part to the other. by land. The only route not through EG is via water.

It isn't the best route, but it is possible to get from Hawkins Point to downtown while staying within the city limits by using Pennington Ave. Don't forget to gaze up at "Trash Mountain" if you happen to be over there.
