I bet Texas will be close to being one of the last to legalize it.

I was going to mention Texas, but it's a money over morals state.

Texas is more independent-thinking than many states, and does what it wants regardless of what others think. So, I'd say that it wouldn't be last. Maybe not even in the last 10. The last might be one of the heavily-southern states (Alabama, Mississippi, etc.)

I agree Thoreau424. I think Texas would also not be one of the last states as well.

but if it's independent thinking wouldn't that increase the chances of it being last? Afterall the strong trend is towards legalization...not legalizing is rebelling against the herd.

I saw a live cop reality show and in Southern Indiana the cops were arresting over a small amount of marijuana and making a big deal about it. I wonder if Indiana will be the last Midwestern state to legalize pot?

I hope yall are right. My part of Texas(Midessa) takes people to jail over minor pot offenses.....I bet we will legalize it before Oklahoma or one of the more southern states so i agree with yall.

You need to educate yourself ( as well as the entire state of Alabama, I guess ) on what pedophilia is. and maybe take a sex ed class, and quit diverting and blaming the Clintons for everything on earth. Both Jennifer Flowers and Monica were of the age of consent, and consented. Huge difference. You're trying to be funny, but sadly, its not.

Louisiana has already legalized medical pot and by far, won't be the last state to legalize for recreational purposes. LA, especially the southern part of the state, is much less conservative than most of the other southern states.
