I am one of the rare people who hates pot and I am in total awe of any state where its still illegal.I am curious what do you predict will be the last state to legalize marijuana? My guess is Utah but it very well could be a state in the deep South.

Have to agree with Alabama. I have a friend who lives there and he swears AL will never legalize. Coincidentally, he's looking to move out of there as soon as he wraps up some medical issues.

The real question is, what will be the second-to-last state to legalize? I think Utah's got a lock on last place. Heck, they don't even have a lottery there.

Oklahoma will be last or close to it.

Any of the ones already listed. If all of them have legalized before, and if, Puerto Rico joins, then Puerto Rico (and only because timing, not law). If the federal government delists it before all states can legalize, then this whole thread is moot.

I think when it is legalized nationally, most states will legalize it. However, there will probably be a few holdouts in the Bible Belt that insist on keeping it illegal. I would say Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, and West Virginia are most likely to do this.

I think it will be legalized federally before half of the states legalize it.
