Yep, was going to post the same thing. It is the junction of I-70 and I-15, so an important mileage marker, and "control" site on the Interstate system. Cove Fort actually is a historical landmark and has no population.

How would I find this out? Going N/S on 75, Tampa isn't listed except for at upcoming exits, where you turn to head into Tampa, Saint Petersburg etc. The cities that are used as a reference are Ocala and Naples (though now that I think about it, coming up from Bradenton area at least, I believe Tampa is listed. Eastbound I would assume it stops at Orlando. I'm not really positive on how I would find this out.

I'm not sure if it's the furthest, but Pittsburgh appears on signs around Harrisburg.

Probably Albany for Boston. But that's the only one I'm familiar with since I go to the Adirondacks. There's probably one in Maine that's like 6 hours up on 95 that says "Boston a ridiculous number of miles"
