Hello, I was wondering what suburbs meet the follwing criteria:

Requirements:
-Within 2hrs of any of these following cities(closer to the city is better):
New York City
Chicago
San Francisco
Philadelphia
Los Angeles
Washington DC
Boston
San Diego

-Has a grocery store
-Has a Downtown and/or a shopping plaza/mall
-At least a population of at least 15,000
-Not blighted or poor
-Not too expensive(Not a super wealthy area/middle class affordable)
-has a park/park system

Optional
-Town size at least 50,000
-Has train station & bus service
-Walkable or has walkable areas
-Within 2 hrs of a large beach or close to natural scenery(Mountains, Waterfront, Lake, etc.)
-Within 30 minutes of any of the cities I listed

If thereís anything that meets all of these criteria, please let me know.

Iím not buying right now, but I want to know options for my future.
Since I live in Central Jersey, lets use the average rent & buy prices for Somerset, NJ and North Brunswick, NJ as the maximum price

I mean, there are probably 20 options in the Chicago suburbs alone. Same with LA.

Trying to narrow this down a bit..

Within 2 hours of:

Depending on your budget, there are way to many to even list based on your lists of wants

Yeah people in the General US forum are sooooo in tune with the RE market in a couple of randomly selected Central Jersey towns. What do you wanna say, a 2BR apartment for $2200 or less, or comparable condo under $400k?

LOL cmon guys it's so simple...he wants something cheaper than the penthouse at his old building but he's willing to pay more than the Parkers across the hall. Can't anyone help him??
