Default Which region of the U.S. would you prefer to live in?

Out of the four basic regions (West Coast, Midwest, East Coast, South), where would you prefer to reside? Rank them in order. You can provide your reasoning, or not. My choices reflect my preferences for urban density, politics, and religious atmosphere:

1.West

2.East

3.Midwest

4.South

I live in the east and love it here but all of the areas have many powerful assets. I love the open space of the midwest and the great lakes are fantastic. The west has unbelievable mountain scenery and the Pacific Coast. The south has three of most favorite cities in the states: New Orleans, Savannah, and Charleston, SC.

1) Midwest
2) West
3) South
4) East

Only because you asked for the order I would pick them. I have lived in all, and as another poster has said they all have their good points as well as their negatives. The positives in each region far outweigh the negatives in the same region. You just have to pick which one fits your own needs best.

The South

i believe they have better manners and the weather is wonderful. besides, southern belles are the best! they know how to treat a man. the sun shines all of the time and the weather is hot and so are the women...the hottest in the country.
