Hey, so wife and I want to move out of the North East hopefully by the end of the year. We are trying to research healthy cities, low to no income tax, and low cost of living in general.

What cities/suburbs do you think offer low cost of living ($1200 or less for 2bdrm apartments on average) and offer/promote lots of healthy living options (Road races, yoga, walking paths, etc...)?

Appreciate the insight.

I just read an article a week or so ago showing the healthiest overall cities in 2018. Below
Are a few cities I remember seeing, that are great places to live and maintain affordability.

Salt Lake City, UT
Boise, ID
Raleigh, NC
Minneapolis, MN

Low cost of living

Plenty of healthy living options such as walking paths, biking, hiking, yoga etc.

The weather is good enough to be outdoors most of the year. Yes the summer is hot but one can still get up early and enjoy the outdoors.

Plenty of places to buy reasonably priced, delicious fresh produce.

Park city is great but not cheap
