Hmm, ok, not being too serious...

My wife actually just said this to me today, although I am paraphrasing: "I would live in LA if it were designed more like SF and I would live in SF if the weather were more like LA"

Definitely, we would move to Chicago if it weren't so cold in the winter. To a lesser degree, ditto Boston and Minneapolis.

I would move to NYC or Las Vegas if I were single.

I think we would consider Denver or Charlotte if there were more Asians/Chinese.

We would probably consider Houston, Dallas, or Atlanta if their Asian/Chinatowns were better connected to the walkable/urban core neighborhoods.

We would try Seattle if it were five years ago (no kids, and my wife was still in her previous career)

And I think we would give Honolulu a shot if it weren't so far away.

FYI, I don't consider cost to be prohibitive (that is, some place being expensive wouldn't prevent us from living there) however a lower COL is definitely an attraction and positive quality.

I'd move back to my hometown if it wasn't so brutally cold in the winter.

I would move back to Las Vegas if it was still the 1980s or 90s. I loved that era of Vegas, today's version not so much.

I would move to Canada if my husband didn't work for the US government. Probably either Vancouver or Montreal. (And no, not just because of the current state of politics)

I would move to Austin, Savannah, or St Louis if they were closer to skiing.

I'd move to Santa Fe if it was 1976.

I'd move to Umbria if I had $$$ and a villa.

I'd move to the Caribbean if it weren't for the hurricanes.

How was Santa Fe different in the '70s? No annoying tourists singing that song from Rent all the time?

I would move to Brooklyn if it was the 90s

I'd move to San Francisco if I could afford it.

I would move to Houston if it had better weather.

Id move to Santa Fe, too, if it weren't so liberal/hippie.

As for the hurricanes, you can live in Aruba, Bonaire, or Curacao. They are outside of the hurricane zone.
