Irving, TX

According to City Data it is:

43.5%Hispanic
21.7%White alone
19.3%Asian alone
13.0%Black alone
1.8%Two or more races
0.3%American Indian alone
0.2%Native Hawaiian and Other
Pacific Islander alone

Irving is very diverse. Granted, the schools are sort of middle of the road, and south Irving is poorer and more Hispanic than the rest of the city, but I think in general it's pretty successful.

That's just a myth. Many blacks prefer living in an urban city environment, while Whites prefer suburbs.

As a rule of thumb, the further you go west of the Mississippi, the more diverse and integrated the suburbs become. In the Midwest and parts of the South, you usually have the cities which are 90%+ black, while the suburbs and exurbs are 90%+ White.

It was too broad of a generalization to be sure, but not a myth either. When you look at trends, more Whites are moving into central cities and more Blacks are moving to the suburbs. https://www.forbes.com/sites/petesau.../#e7ab01a1d403
