I was thinking about making this thread about cities that you almost never hear anything about in the news, movies, books etc.
An exmaple from my experience is Tucson, AZ.
I never here anything about it in the news.

Old Tucson Studios -- a western Hollywood lot for tv and movies, is located west of Tucson about 10 miles or so, where tons of movies and tv shows (westerns) were shot. Anyway, also loads of movies have filmed in Tucson too--Can't Buy Me Love, Tombstone, Tin Cup, Almost Famous, Boys on the Side--and many more!

But yeah, lately in news, Tucson is lowkey for sure...don't hear much at all....

Out of the top 10 biggest cities, I never hear much about San Antonio. San Jose is widely cited as one of those under-reported cities, but I sometimes see it in Silicon-Valley-related news coverage.
