$200K buys a house out in Dorchester or Berkeley Counties likely 30 or more minutes from downtown Charleston, one of those new postage stamp lots.

Denver is still the most expensive non coastal city in the country. It feels like that honor should go to Chicago but supply and demand is still a problem in this market.

I did find it interesting that while SF median price is higher than Manhattan, Manhattan is more expensive on a per sq/ft basis.

What's funny is Austin and San Antonio are maybe 1.5 hours apart, but look at that discrepancy.

Just searched my zip with $220K max. I got a single hit on a 400sq/Ft condo that looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s.

Yep, similarly, this one available property is what $200k gets you in my zip. I’m actually surprised that a unit can still be had for under $200k
