A happy lazy hippie though, you have to admit.

Marijuana Top U.S. Cash Crop
Dec. 18, 2006 — Weeding through the value of the nation's cash crops, a study released today states that marijuana is the U.S.'s most valuable crop and promotes the drug's legalization and taxation.
Drug enforcement officials say the equation is not that simple.
The report, "Marijuana Production in the United States," by marijuana policy researcher Jon Gettman, concludes that despite massive eradication efforts at the hands of the federal government, "marijuana has become a pervasive and ineradicable part of the national economy."
In the report, Gettman, a marijuana-reform activist and leader of the Coalition for Rescheduling Cannabis, champions a system of legal regulation.
Contrasting government figures for traditional crops — like corn and wheat — against the study's projections for marijuana production, the report cites marijuana as the top cash crop in 12 states and among the top three cash crops in 30.
The study estimates that marijuana production, at a value of $35.8 billion, exceeds the combined value of corn ($23.3 billion) and wheat ($7.5billion).

I second the injections. For some they can be a great relief. Going to see a pain specialist can be really helpful if that has not already been done.

Yeah, it made me so stupid and lazy, that I only earned a master's degree... Obviously it's not the best thing for you, but moderation is the key - just like anything else. Besides, if you have natural intelligence, it's highly unlikely that smoking pot will change that in the long-term.

Yes, I heard about the Santa Cruz ordinance, and was very pleased... I live about 40 miles from there, and it's the kind of town where it should be "legal". There are so many pot-heads in Santa Cruz, it's just a SERIOUS waste of time to bother with them! Plenty of violent crimes happen in that town, which is a better use of our tax money... the stoners don't generally hurt anyone; they just hang out & people-watch on Pacific Ave. or the Boardwalk.
Btw, it's really a great town, and I've been waiting for job openings at their library! I would totally love to live there, and not just because of the pot stuff.

As someone in the educational field, I just can't take the chance of having a criminal record. They can't fire me based on having the prescription, since we sign a HIPPA form with both employers & the marijuana programs... they're not legally allowed to ask why I have the card (as I could have AIDS or cancer, which isn't necessary to disclose), so there's not much they could do about it.
Anyway, my particular employers only mandate that you can't be high/drunk at work, and don't really care about your at-home activities... but they do care if you get arrested for a criminal act, which can't happen by simply patronizing a marijuana dispensary - they almost always go after the clubs, not the users. I've been a card holder for over 2 years, and haven't been harrassed or even noticed by the government. They have much bigger fish to fry!

But, can you freely roam each state with your card? What about if the federal what to get involved will the state stand up for your rights?
You won't be noticed by the government until they feel a need. I believe if they need to fry a little fish to get to bigger ones you will be put in the pan.
This is just my opinion one day the government tells us it's okay and then, when they decide it's not, you are the fish that they fry.
You just take your chances putting your name on a list when it involves the government nothing is done unless they benefit from it.

Nope... which is why you aren't supposed to travel outside the state with anything. As long as you follow the rules, it's fairly safe - at least for now.

Just FYI - there is a medication that they can give to quell the nausea (actually there are a few of them) Sulcrafate can be used to line the stomach to make the med less irritating and Reglan or other related antiemetics can be used to help with nausea. I would suggest if DD has not already gone to a pain management doctor that a visit would be in order to see if any anything else may help..Depending on what injuries he has some herbs can be of use as well.
Might be of some help..sorry I know I already posted last nite but i was dog tired and wanted to add more.

Apparently Philly
We call the police when we see dealing going on, and IF they show up, they drive right on by. Sometimes they even honk their horn and wave.
