Here's a different type of Amazon thread. I ask two questions...

Main question:
• Which city's setting(s) of the Amazon site is most attractive, aesthetically pleasing"

Secondary question:
• If you've looked at the renderings of proposed designs, which design concept is most pleasing?

Someone should start a thread about how ridiculous this whole Amazon HQ2 has become.

Have to go with Chicago - Lincoln Yards. High Tech setting, Stadium, Riverfront, massive supertalls dotting the skyline, unbeatable public transportation, multiple airports and one of the worlds largest lakes at your doorstep.

Aesthetically speaking, I personally think the sites in Chicago (several) and Philly (Schuylkill Yards) best meet Amazon's overall desires, followed by the sites in Atlanta (The Gulch and Tech Square / The Stitch)

As the OP I am in full agreement. The winning city will be the real loser

Given the connection of Bezos to DC, the geographic location, infrastructure and the ramifications of proximity to the federal government the DC sites seem hard to pass up....especially the riverfront site.
