What are some large towns, cities without an Interstate?

Tyler, TX and Dothan AL are both cities of significant size that do not have an interstate running through. For now, the Houma-Thibodaux metro in far South Louisiana does not have an Interstate, but there are plans for I-49 to be extended from Lafayette to go through this area and lead to New Orleans.

Lynchburg, VA is a metro of about 200k with no Interstate highway around.
Atlantic City, NJ is a metro of 270k with no Interstate highway (the Garden State Parkway and Atlantic City Expressway are state routes).

How about a two interstates but no city? The 15 and I-70 intersect in Utah without a city there -weird..

In Wichita Ks (around 300K pop. ?), you need to take a spur to get to I-35

Rome, Georgia
Athens, Georgia
Fayetteville, North Carolina (I-95 skirts the edge of town: does this count?)
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Are we talking about no freeways/expressway/interstates, or JUST that it doesn't have an actual Interstate. There are a lot of cities with freeways, but they're just not numbered interstates.

I assumed no major interstates, like 35, not spurs, like 235, 435, etc..

Fresno has CA 99 and CA 41 but no interstate.

Well, The 5 does run through Fresno County but not near Fresno City.

I was thinking of cities that don't have an actual Interstate. I would include spurs and loops such as I-610 in Houston or I-530 which links Little Rock to Pine Bluff, among Interstates.

I'm curious as to why you asked this question. Just trivia, or is there some implication you are thinking about?
