I don't see why anyone would talk negative about Iowa. Iowa is very beautiful. As someone else said low crime, good schools. Awesome cities. I love Dubuque btw. Iowa has much more to its landscape then the always acclaimed cornfields, same goes for Indiana.

I like Iowa for some reason it has always intrest me since I was alot younger, I think its the farming landscape that stands out to me more than other places. I probably wouldnt want to live there but I like it.

My two replies Florida and Texas are only because of the beach. Otherwise, I would not want to live anywhere except Missouri or Arkansas.

And no matter what state it would be only small town/rural for me. I've lived in big cities and had enough of them.

I couldn't agree more with your first simlie. That place would put me into an early grave if that's what ALL of it looks like. Too crowded for me.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I wanna be around to see what happens when a hurricane hits that place. What a nightmare.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can be content in such unnatural surroundings. *That* is no way to live, IMHO.

I'd gladly take Kentucky or Iowa over being jammed tush-hole to elbow with 200,000 other people. yeesh

California - I'd love to live in San Fran if the housing was cheaper & schools were better.
Maine - Same for housing, also if there were ever jobs in my field there.
Nebraska - I'd like to live in Omaha. Great place to raise a family.
Tennesee - I think I want to change this to North Carolina - Ashville area.
West Virginia - Went WWR there twice, love the landscape. I could see myself retiring in the mountains.
