Yup, same thing is true in the Hampton Roads forum. People who want information about my town, which is actually a very nice place to live, finally had to leave that forum and started posting in the Virginia forum instead because the negativity was so pervasive you couldn't get helpful information there.



The best forums, IMO, have a mix of both positive and negative posts. I prefer having a higher percentage of the upbeat posts, mostly because boosters also tend to share lots of helpful information.
