Since past the Brooklyn and Golden Gate Bridges the 3rd most recognized bridge in the US is not as certain. That is why I'd be curious to know what you would consider to be your states most famous or well known bridge. Here in MD the obvious answer would be the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Most-used: Freeway Bridge (I-5 has a double-decker bridge over the Lake Washington Ship Canal in the middle of Seattle.
Most notorious: An old version of the Tacoma Narrows that fell apart in high winds in the 40s.
Most unique: We've had seven floating bridges. Two sank, including Hood Canal in a storm, and I-90 when air chambers were left open over a weekend during a retrofit after a second bridge was added. 520 just got a replacement bridge. One of the I-90 bridges currently has lanes being converted to light rail use, a first for a floating bridge.

New Jersey: George Washington Bridge. Could be a contender for #3.
When I think of the next most famous bridges, I still feel like I can’t get out of NY and SF. I think GW Bridge, Manhattan bridge, Oakland Bay, or Queensboro.
Outside of NY/SF the next one I think of is The Ben Franklin in Philly, but that could just be because I spend a lot of time there, and even lived in South Jersey for a little bit. I’m not sure how well-known that bridge really is around the country. I will say that it’s probably #1 for PA.
Bulkeley Bridge: connects East Hartford to Hartford by crossing the Connecticut River. The oldest bridge in Connecticut that crosses the Connecticut River and is known as the longest stone arch bridge in the world.
Arrigoni Bridge: connects Middletown to Portland by crossing the Connecticut River. It's the tallest bridge in the state and is well-known for being a hot spot for suicide jumpers. A few years ago, a man threw his baby off the bridge and into the river. This is one of many awful and heinous stories that this bridge has produced over the years.
