I live in NW Philadelphia on the edge of the City. It is more of a neighborhood. I have 5 bars within about a ~7min walk of my house. Probably about 3 more within 15 minute walk. Yes this is important to me. I enjoy going out to have a few drinks and not having to worry about driving home. I grew up in a Kansas City exurb where there was nothing in walking distance so I very much enjoy the change.

If a person likes to go to the bar and drink I think it would be ideal to walk to and from the bar then that person wouldn't haven't to worry about getting a dwi or even worse having a wreck and hurting somebody while driving drunk.

Your question is not the topic of this thread. If you have an interest in it, I encourage you to open a new thread. I have no interest in posting in it, however.

With Uber it is easier to go to a bar and not worry about getting a dui on way home, before Uber around here you had to drive or stay home.

This is in Sugarhouse.

Haha I just answered that I live close to a bar, I just thought it was funny he put that in there, if anyone has been to Salt Lake in the past 10 years they would know we have a thriving brewery and bar scene.
